Kim, Keiko, & Nugget
Kim joined the Got Sit Dog Training family in 2023. She comes from a strong background in veterinary medicine, with over a decade of experience working with animals. Before transitioning into dog training, Kim spent years as an emergency and ICU veterinary technician, providing critical care to pets in need. Seeking a new challenge outside the hospital setting, she discovered the rewarding world of dog training and never looked back!
For Kim, the most fulfilling part of her job is seeing the joy on her clients' faces as they witness their dog's transformation, all while building an unbreakable bond with their furry best friend. It truly is life-changing!
Kim is also lucky to share her passion for training with her own two dogs, Keiko and Nugget. Keiko, a 1-year-old Cattle Dog Pitbull Border Collie mix, is a high-energy, intelligent pup who thrives on having a job to do. Kim says, "She is a workaholic and probably the smartest dog I've ever met." Keiko was rescued from Texas at 5 months old. Nugget, her 8-year-old Pitbull American Bulldog, was her very first dog who she rescued at 2 months old. He started with Kim at Got Sit but is now mostly retired and living his best life at home. Kim also has three cats and a tortoise at home.
Exciting news—starting in May 2025, Kim will be bringing Got Sit Dog Training to North County San Diego, CA! She looks forward to helping more dog owners create happy, emotionally-balanced dogs in this new location.
