We got him at 8 weeks old from someone's accidental litter. We have had 4 rescues from the humane society. Because of our existing dog's dog aggression, we thought that our newest addition would have to be a puppy that would learn to let Brutus be dominant. I found this puppy on Facebook NW adoption site, researched the breed, and then thought we would try the puppy thing. Currently, he is 10 months old and weighs over 110 pounds. He is a great big adorable handful.
Borris had no manners, he'd get into the garbage, would only sit when you had a treat, was very stubborn, and generally only listens when he wants to. We have had two in home visits so far, and he definately respects the collar. He will sit now, if he steals something and runs off with it, he will come back if I say 'come'. We have a long way to go but the progress so far is amazing. We plan to make full use of the group training to take the training to the next level.
