My daughter brought her home as an 8 week old puppy, she got in front of a store around Christmas. She was raised with a Lab and 2 kittens. She was attacked at a dog park, so they stopped taking her around other dogs. The neighbor teased her over the fence, so she was pretty scared of everything. She ALWAYS chewed on anything that wouldn't move, finally she ate a sectional couch (the whole thing) and my daughter said she could no longer keep her, she had just had her third child, so I took her to 'find her a good home' We had just put down our 16 year old lab/chow down. Daisy stopped chewing, we found out she was allergic to cats. No one suitable answered our ad, so we decided she had to stay with us. I guess you could call us a foster failure :) She has been my dog ever since. My Grandkids and daughter are thrilled she is still with us.
Daisy was kicked out of other training classes because she was dog reactive, and being she was the pit mix, she had to go. Anthony and Marvin have been the best thing in the world for Daisy and for me, we all know we need just as much training as the dogs do. When we started group classes, Daisy had to wear a muzzle and be on the other side of the park in order to be there at all. She was scared of everything and everybody and had lots of fear aggression. Now, she PLAYS with the other dogs and can sit or lay right next to them. Got Sit? is the BEST training I have ever seen!! I'm so happy to have such a balanced goofball, and Daisy LOVES them too!
