Elmo

|
My arrival story.

I rescued Elmo from a post on Facebook. He had been found tied to a phone booth a year and a half ago and abandoned. Someone brought him to a doggie daycare where they adopted him into a military home. The soldier deployed in early November and brought him back to the doggie daycare (the most squalor place I've ever seen). He was kept in a 5'x7'room by himself, away from the other dogs, with no windows and no contact, except food and water for about 5-6 weeks before I adopted him. He was so stressed and sick! He had worms, Giardia and stage 2 cancer and bit me the day after I got him. He attacked and almost killed Max a week later. He had surgery and with the training is a completely different dog now! AND...his prognosis is good :-) He has a 2nd chance at life! I am so thankful for GOTSIT and the tools its given me to help both of my dogs be their best selves!

Why we love Got Sit Dog Training.

Got Sit gave me the tools I needed to teach my dogs how to behave. I didn't realize how passive aggressive Max was, and although he was a 'good dog', he had some bad habits that didn't mix well with Elmo and his aggressiveness. I realized the problem was me. Got sit helped teach me to be the one in control and how to manage 2 strong willed male pitbulls! Chris related well with me and evaluated my situation and my dogs to know what we were dealing with. He was really flexible with my schedule and accommodating my needs, especially with Elmo's surgery. His wealth of knowledge and experience and advice is priceless! I feel the training is worth every penny I spent!

Owner: Trish

City: Tacoma

Breed: Pitbull

I Like: I love long walks, car rides, and parks

Favorite Toy: Big plastic ball, with another ball inside.

Pet-peeves: Max likes cats, Elmo doesn't

Favorite Walk: Wapato Park or any park, really :)

Best Trick: Elmo loves to 'feed the kitties.' He will run to the cabinet where the food is, race to the door and 'protect' me while I feed them. He gets so excited! Then he runs back to his dish to eat.
