While looking for a Bernese Mtn dog online we fell in love with this little bitty face. Didn't matter the breed. We just knew he was coming home with us. Advertised as 7 weeks old...got him home and when the AKC papers arrived...he was only 5 weeks. During first visit at the Vet, found out he was partially blind. Can only see from the nose down with some limited peripheral. Several weeks later we thought he was having seizures. After many Neurological DR visits and many meds that did nothing...we had to assume he has neurological damage. The assumption is he was dropped on his head as probably a new born. Long story on the 'breeder'. He is 2 years old now and a very much loved part of our family. We would do anything to make sure he is happy and comfortable and safe. :)
Marvin came to see us to evaluate Harley when he was just approximately 4 months old. He had become very aggressive. We assumed it was due to his blindness and being afraid. Shortly after Marvins visit we thought he was having seizures. Turned out to be Neurological damage. Marvin asked that we take care of his medical needs, just keep him updated. At Harleys 2nd birthday we decided it was time to call Marvin back. With 1 visit/evaluation of Harleys current state, he thought he could help. Then comes Anthony. Angel. The collar has changed Harleys state of mind to a calm and submissive state. It's a drastic difference. In just 3 visits to train us as well, we have no more potty pads in the house and have had only 1 accident (moms fault). Barking is controllable with an 'uh - ah'. The miracle of being able to put a collar on him at all without getting bit is the proof in the pudding. Life is more calm for everyone involved. Harley is happy and we are in love with Got Sit, Marvin & Anthony.
