We adopted him from the Ballard animal shelter when he was about 6 years old. Started displaying aggressive tendencies about 3 weeks after we adopted him. Very leash aggressive; lunges and barks at people; jumps up on people; would not listen; high energy. He is definitely a handful but we love the little dope and this training has helped immensely. He is a great hiking dog and we love taking him on outdoor adventures and we can't wait until we have mastered the training so taking him out won't be as stressful.
Very quick results. After the first lesson, we solved the jumping up problem and his leash re-activeness went from an 85 to a 25. He also loves some of agility tricks we have taught him. He has so much energy that training has become a good outlet for him.
