Mars was my coworker's brother's dog. My coworker had walked in on her brother's girlfriend hurting Marley. She took Marley to work with her and Marley seemed to be the most comfortable with me. I was looking for a dog, but hadn't found my match yet. With Marley it was the perfect match.
Marley has learned that not all people are bad and we have learned a great deal of patience. Marley has brought so much joy and laughter to not only just our home, but our friend's. She is a silly dog who has a big heart.
Got Sit has changed the way we communicate. I cannot begin to say thank you enough for these tools.
Instead of us yelling in frustration when she is already scared and unbalanced she is able to receive a calm command. This helps her actually listen to the command and recieve the reward.
She has a long way to go in certain areas (ie meeting new people at the door), but the difference now is that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We can get there now!
