I adopted Scooter from an owner who could no longer afford his care. Scooter was 65 lbs (owners could only afford cat food), covered in fleas, had a horrible ear/skin infection including a hematoma on one of his ears and was not altered and had very little vaccine history. I was looking for a smallish dog but as soon as I met Scooter I fell in love with his sweet disposition. Scooter is now 80 lbs and full of love. His ear is deformed from the untreated hematoma but he doesn't let that bother him. Scooter loves his mommy and will lay on top of anyone who gets in the way of his snuggle time.
Scooter is on his way to become a therapy dog. Got Sit has given Scooter and his mom the tools to work on his focus while lots of things are happening.
