My girlfriend's rescue dog had an unplanned litter of 5 puppies. Of course I was excited to see them and when they were 4 weeks old, she started bringing the mom and puppies over to my house for the day about every 4-6 days. Well, that was the most wonderful way for me to pick which one I wanted to add to my family of two older Poms! (crazy, yes) I chose Henry because he was the only short, flat-coated in the litter and he was full of the devil but sweet as could be. At about 7 weeks, my friend started bringing him and one of his siblings over for the day and then at 9 weeks, he joined us for good. It was a rude awakening for me to have such a strong-willed puppy on my hands and a good lesson on not babying puppies too much!
The trainers are magicians and love all dogs. My new dog has just started and we have had two private lessons. He is one though character and much different than my other two dogs. It will take a lot of patience and practice for me to learn to train him and the coaching from both AJ and Anthony has been remarkable! In the two lessons, Henry came a long way and I know with my follow through, we will succeed!
I did use Got Sit with my other two dogs and they are excellently behaved (most of the time) now. They loved the training and going to the group classes.
